  • Queen : Un règne qui a failli s'achever trop vite !...
    Légendaire groupe britanique apparu en 1973, Freddie Mercury et ses amis n'ont attendu que deux ans pour se réveler au monde entier avec notamment le titre "Bohemian Rhapsody".
    Toujours quelque peu reticents à la musique de la Reine, les Français se laisseront enfin conquerir en 1977 grace aux hits "We will rock you" et "We are the champions"

  • Lors des 15 années suivantes, sur des approches musicales très variées, Il va s'en suivre de nombreux succès jusqu'à ce que la mort de Freddie Mercury, fin 1991, vienne mettre fin à la carrière du groupe...
  • Cependant, une quainzaine d'années plus tard, Brian May et Roger Taylor vont décider de remettre le Groupe sur scène. Un nouveau chanteur est trouvé en la personne de Paul Rodger...
    Etalées sur plusieurs anées, les tournées triomphales et les enregistrement "Live" produits, amèneront la nouvelle formation à enregistrer un nouvel Album Studio en 2008...

Concernant la discographie studio du groupe, il faut noter les points suivants :
  • Flash Gordon est une bande originale de film et les thêmes musicaux s'y trouvant s'apparentent à une musique éléctronique explorative. Ce qui fait que peu de "Hits" en sont issus...
  • Une partie du contenu de "A kind of Magic" provient du film "Highlander". Cependant le titre "One vision" peut s'entendre sur le film "L'aigle d'acier".
  • L'album "made in heaven" est comme chacun le sait, un disque réalisé après la mort de Freddie Mercury. On n'y trouvera donc quelques compositions originales mais aussi des reprises venant d'albums solos de Brian May ou de Freddie Mercury.
  • L'album de compilations "Queen Rocks" figure ici pour l'inédit "No-one but you". Les autres titres proviennent tous des albums enregistrés auparavant...
